Clear Spring Park is located on Wright Patman Lake. It offers day use and campground facilities. There are a variety of campsites, with more than 100 of them having electric hookups and 12 of them with water and electricity. Campers have access to three screened shelters, restrooms and showers. One shelter has a deck right above the waterfront. Every shelter has a ceiling fan, table, grill, campfire ring, covered porch and water.
Amenities include an accessible boat ramp, basketball courts, horseshoe pit, pay phone, swimming beach, volleyball courts, dump station, drinking water access and accessible flush toilets. The boat ramp has a dock and a fish cleaning station is available. From March through September, the campground gate is locked from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. from October through February. Guests are given a lock combination so they can enter the campground during those hours.

The area is a prime spot to view wildlife such as pelicans, bobwhite quail, bald eagles, ducks, wild turkey, waterfowl and white-tailed deer. There are some poisonous snakes that live within the vicinity. The campground is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is conveniently located a short drive from Shreveport, La., and the rest of the Texarkana region.

It is conveniently located outside Texarkana. Travel Highway 59 south then turn onto Farm-to-Market Road then follow the Wright Patman Lake entrance signs.
